Simon founded the academy after years of honing his craft through trial and error and money spent on high end coaching programmes.

L.O.R.D Vision

Here at L.O.R.D Academy we aim to provide affordable courses from coaches who are dedicated to helping others wanting to reach their full potential. We are looking to help players from juniors through to premiers to achieve their potential and receive the opportunity for one to one coaching.

We have noticed players and coaches alike over the years have become frustrated with the lack of opportunities to learn from experienced and skilled coaches without having to pay through the teeth. This is why we are embracing this journey as coaches who have a thirst for knowledge and have attended the highly priced courses in order to upskill and learn. We understand the need for something to fill the gap. 

Just before starting the academy I had a coach who was very green ask me "Where do I start? There are all these things online with youtube etc. and drills but how do I
learn to be a good coach or how do I become a better coach?". This drove me to think, besides a lot of trial and error on my own part, what would have helped make my own journey to this point smoother? The answer was a simple one - I needed someone who was knowledgeable to help me; someone who was knowledgeable about the finer details of the game but also had knowledge about the skills needed as a coach: I needed what I had been provided at the high tier academies which I had attended but at an afforadable price. Then the next thing that would have made my life far easier then, and even now, was a mentor who I could call when I needed support.

    Unlike other academies around the country, we don't use high profile coaches or ex professional players. What we do promise is to provide a high level of learning from coaches and players who are dedicated to honing their craft and providing the best possible learning experience for each individual we work with. 

    The benefit of this is our prices are more affordable. We are also targeting players of all abilities and demographics. Everyone has something to offer and with the right support you can reach your full potential as a player or a coach.

  • What we offer

    For players, we can focus on areas of your own choice or alternatively we run seminars and training programs that are skill or positional specific.

    For coaches, we develop your knowledge of drills and skills, and how to get the best from your players of all levels. We also offer an insight into how to develop clear structures and strategies - Your own coaching blueprint if you will.

    Outside of our structured programs we also offer custom services to fit your needs.
